2-1-5: APPOINTMENTS AND REMOVAL:
Unless otherwise provided, all appointments to boards or commissions, which shall be permanent boards or commissions, shall be made by the mayor, with the consent of the city council. All members of boards or commissions may be removed from service on such boards and committees in a like manner as is provided for their appointment. (2003 Code § 2-01-05)
