A. The city council, in conjunction with the board of county commissioners, shall establish a convenient number of election precincts, or create new or consolidate established precincts, only within the boundaries of the legislative districts provided by Idaho Code section 67-202. All municipal election precincts shall, insofar as possible, have the same boundaries as established by the board of county commissioners of Bingham County.
B. Pursuant to the laws of the state, there hereby is established a convenient number of election precincts within the city. The six (6) precincts herein established conform as nearly as possible and practicable to the Bingham County, Idaho, election precincts within the city. (2003 Code § 1-10-02; amd. 2012 Code)
