10-2-1: BUILDING AND RESIDENTIAL CODES ADOPTED:
Certain documents, one copy of which is on file and open for inspection to the public, being marked and designated as the building code, current edition as adopted by the state, published by the International Conference Of Building Officials, but excepting therefrom the requirements for automatic sprinkler systems in three-unit and four-unit group R buildings, and adopting the residential code, current edition as adopted by the state, be and the same are hereby adopted as the code of the city for regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings and structures within the jurisdiction of the city, and providing for the issuance of permits and the collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such codes, published by the International Conference Of Building Officials, and the secondary publications referenced above, all of which are on file in the city, are referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set forth in this chapter.
