7-4A-2: DEFINITIONS:
The following terms, when used in this article, shall have the meaning specified:
EAST-WEST STREET: Streets running in the general direction of east and west.
MOTOR VEHICLE: Every self-propelled vehicle in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a public street or highway, except vehicles or devices used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks.
MOTORCYCLE: A motor vehicle having a seat or saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on no more than three (3) wheels in contact with the ground.
NORTH-SOUTH STREET: Streets running in the general direction of north and south.
OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER: The official newspaper of the city of Blackfoot, as designated in section 1-5-3 of this code.
PROCLAMATION: A proclamation issued by the mayor declaring the necessity to impose the parking restrictions set forth in this article.
SNOW REMOVAL: The process of removing snow from the streets within the city.
TRAILER: Every vehicle without motive power designed to carry persons or property and which is drawn by a motor vehicle.
VEHICLE: Every device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, excepting devices used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks. (2003 Code § 10-15-02)
