It shall be the duty of every person issued a fireworks permit to comply with all the provisions of the state fireworks laws and this chapter. The violation of the state fireworks laws or any of the provisions of this chapter by the permittee, or by any of its agents, employees or officers, shall constitute a cause, in and of itself, to deny any subsequent application for a permit for a period of five (5) years from the date of conviction for such violation.
