6-1-10: ALCOHOL AND INTOXICATION OFFENSES:
   A.   Open Container: Except as otherwise permitted by statute or ordinance, it shall be unlawful for any person to have in his or her possession any open container of any alcoholic beverage on any street, in any public or private parking lot, in or upon any public or private motor vehicle or upon any public or private property open to the public.
   B.   Consumption: Except as otherwise permitted by statute or ordinance, it shall be unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage on or upon any street, in any public or private parking lot, in or upon any public or private motor vehicle or upon any public or private property open to the public.
   C.   Public Intoxication Prohibited: A person is guilty of intoxication if such person is under the influence of intoxicating liquor, a controlled substance, or any substance having the property of releasing toxic vapors, to a degree that the person may endanger herself or himself or another, in a public place or in a private place where such person unreasonably disturbs other persons.
