A. Burn barrels are prohibited within the city limits.
B. Any person desiring to engage in open burning within the city limits must first obtain a permit from the fire department.
C. There shall be no burning of tires, petroleum products, pesticide containers, demolition debris, tar, household trash, carpet, wire, insulation or treated wood.
D. There shall be no burning of standing buildings.
E. All fires must be attended at all times and the attendant must possess fire extinguishing equipment that is in good working condition.
F. A burn permit will not be issued if winds are fifteen (15) miles per hour or greater, or when a "no burn order" has been issued by the state.
G. There shall be no burning after sunset. (2003 Code § 3-03-05)
