6-8-3: IN-PERSON TRANSFER OF CHILD:
Delivery of the child may be effectuated by an in-person transfer of the child to the medical services provider or first responder or by leaving the child in a newborn safety devise that is:
   A.   Voluntarily installed by the medical services provider;
   B.   Physically located inside a police station, fire station, hospital or other medical facility that is staffed twenty-four (24) hours per day seven (7) days per week; and
   C.   Located in an area that is conspicuous and visible to the employees.

6-8-4: INSTALLATION OF NEWBORN SAFETY DEVISES:
A medical services provider or first responder that installs a newborn safety devise shall:
   A.    Be responsible for the cost of the installation; and
   B.   Install an adequate dual alarm system connected to the physical location of the newborn safety device and it shall be tested at least one time per week and visually checked at least two (2) times per day to ensure the alarm system is in working order.
