No person shall enter into or remain upon nor shall any vehicle be left unattended in any park areas or facility between the hours of eleven thirty o'clock (11:30) P.M. and seven thirty o'clock (7:30) A.M., unless an earlier or later curfew is approved by the council or the city manager and is posted at the park area or facility; provided that use of such park areas or facilities may be allowed during curfew hours when a permit has been issued by the council or the city manager. Any person violating this section shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor offense, punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), excluding costs, fees and assessments.
