6-1-6: APPLICABILITY TO PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES:
The provisions of this title shall apply to the driver of any vehicle owned by or used in the service of the United States government or any state, county, city or other governmental unit or agency, as well as to other vehicles; and it is unlawful for any such driver to violate any of the provisions of this title, except as otherwise permitted in this title or by State Statute. (1993 Code § 24-7)
