§ 150.02  CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   All public sidewalks hereinafter constructed within the town shall be constructed of cement and rock in a five to one (5:1) ratio, and shall be at least four inches in thickness.
   (B)   All sidewalks in the residence section of the town shall be 42 inches wide, and the inner edge of said sidewalks shall be placed 18 inches out from the property line, except that where streets as platted are 50 feet wide or less, the inner edge of the sidewalks in the residence section of the town shall be placed on the property line. All sidewalks in the business district in the town shall be nine and one-half feet wide, and the inner edge thereof shall be situated on the property line.
   (C)   All sidewalks shall be kept clear of surface debris and overhanging trees, branches, and bushes for a vertical distance of at least eight feet and if, after having been served with notice to remove such obstructions, the property owner fails to do so, the town may remove the same and charge the expense thereof to the property owner.
   (D)   It shall be the duty of the owner of any lot or lots within the town, when required so to do in writing by the Town Board, to build, maintain, and repair the sidewalk in front of his or her premises, and if he or she fails to do so, the town may cause such sidewalks to be constructed, and the cost of the same to be levied against the owner of said property in the manner provided by law.
