It shall be unlawful for any person to dump live ashes about his or her premises, or any other place where such ashes might become a menace to property by being blown by wind, or scattered by other causes. All persons are cautioned to make certain they extinguish all fire from their ashes before dumping them, or place them in a pit or container with suitable lid on either.
