(A) No moneys shall be drawn from the town treasury except by warrant drawn upon the Finance Officer, attested by the Board of Trustees and counter-signed by the President or Vice President of the Board of Trustees.
(B) All warrants drawn upon the Finance Officer shall be paid at the next regular meeting of the Town Board in which losses warranted can be paid during the month and counter-signed by two officials, approved after the fact at the next meeting unless payment is necessary to avoid late fees or other deadlines.
(C) The Finance Officer shall keep a warrant register which shall show, in columns arranged for that purpose, the number, amount, person to whom issued, person presenting the same, date when notice for payment is given, and the total amount, including interest, when paid.
(D) It shall be the duty of the Finance Officer, when any warrant is presented, to pay the same if there are funds in the treasury to meet it. A register of all warrants is presented and is called at each regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees by each Trustee present.
