This chapter is adopted for the purpose of establishing standards for the design of residential driveways in the village, in order to ensure public safety and to protect and enhance the character, appearance, and property values of the village. Pursuant to the provisions of its Charter, the Village of Bingham Farms has the authority to enact regulations for and exercise reasonable control over the design of its residential driveways.
