In addition to persons authorized in a specific ordinance and police officers, the following persons, being public servants, are authorized to issue and serve upon persons appearance tickets, citations and violation notices with respect to alleged violations of ordinances and codes of the Village of Bingham Farms in such cases as the designated public servants have sufficient grounds to believe a violation has occurred, as required by law:
(A) The Village Clerk;
(B) The designated Fire Official of the village, with regard to violations of codes and ordinances relating to fire matters;
(C) Members of the City of Southfield Building Department with regard to alleged violations of construction codes, such Department serving as the agency of the village for the administration of such codes. For purposes of this provision, construction codes shall include the zoning ordinance.
