(A) Dog pound. The village will not establish a dog pound but will use the facilities of area veterinarians when and where approved and available.
(B) Impounding of dogs. It shall be the duty of the Animal Control Officer to take up, seize and place in the dog pound all dogs that may be found running at large or being kept or harbored in any place within the village contrary to the provisions of this chapter.
