§ 31.03 TOWN CLERK.
   (A)   Generally. At said first meeting after each election, the Board shall also elect a Town Clerk, which said Town Clerk need not be a member of the Board.

   (B)   Duties and Compensation of Town Clerk. The Town Clerk shall record all proceedings of the Board, shall have charge of the archives of the town, and shall be responsible for all documents, records, books, resolutions, and other papers kept therein, and shall, in addition, perform all such duties as may be desired by the Board. The Town Clerk shall receive such compensation as may be set from time to time by the Board.
