Effective as of July 1, 2017, the city will implement a standardized Equivalent Dwelling Unit (“EDU”) methodology for imposing rates and charges based on the size of the service line for each connection. A three-fourths inch service, the standard size service line for single-family residential users, will equal one EDU. The following table shows the number of EDUs for each size of service line:
