§ 31.35 APPOINTMENT.
   The Mayor shall, subject to the advice and consent of the City Council, appoint a City Clerk/Treasurer and a deputy City Clerk/Treasurer who each shall hold office for the duration of his or her appointment or until his or her successor is appointed and qualified.
