(A) Collection. The City Clerk/Treasurer shall be charged with the collection of the fees for the licenses required by this title.
(B) Fees. The fees shall be as set forth in the city fee schedule.
(C) Proration. With the exception of nonresident salesperson licenses, the fees for all licenses issued after July 1 shall be calculated pro rata on the number of months remaining in the year. A month will be included in the proration if an application is filed on or before the fifteenth day of the month. No allowance shall be made for any period less than one month.
(D) Lien. All property held or used in any business for which a license is required is liable for such license and is subject to a lien for the amount of the fee for such license.
(E) Disposition of fee upon denial of application. If a license application shall be denied, the license fee that may have accompanied the application shall be returned to the applicant.
