There is hereby established a board called the board of adjustments and appeals, which shall consist of seven members, one alternate member and three ex-officio members, appointed by a majority vote of the city council. The board of adjustments and appeals shall also include the duties of the plumbing, gas, electrical, fire and mechanical board of adjustments and appeals.
