(a) A city permit holder performing tows other than police tows may collect fees that are deemed reasonable in accordance with the provisions set forth in Texas Occupations Code, Ch. 2308.
(b) City permit holders performing police tows shall not charge fees that exceed the maximum amounts described in this article. All monetary transactions for all fees under this article are the responsibility of the permit holder. The City of Big Spring shall not be involved in nor responsible for the exchange of funds between the permit holder and third parties.
