Sec. 40-81. Deposit; due dates; cancellation.
   The appropriate deposit and cleaning fee shall be payable to the community services department a minimum of 14 days prior to the first scheduled use of the auditorium upon which time a contract for rental needs to be executed. In the event the lessee does not use the auditorium, cancellation must be made no later than seven days prior to scheduled use of the facility or said deposit shall be retained by the city as rental but said cleaning fee shall be refunded to the lessee. The deposit paid by the lessee will be applied to any repairs to the leased premises for which the lessee is liable under the lease, and for the cost of any removal or disposal of trash, debris, or property left on the leased premises by the lessee. The lessee is liable to the city for any cost of repairs or cleanup in excess of the amount of the deposit. Any monies from the deposit remaining after all lawful deducts are made by the city will be returned to the lessee.
