Sec. 22-5. Fee exemption for animal rescuers.

   (a)   Animal rescuers, as defined in chapter 8, shall be exempt from payment of the following permit fees:

      (1)   Animal license fee (altered and unaltered).

      (2)   Redemption fee—first incident (altered and unaltered).

      (3)   Boarding fee.

      (4)   Adoption fee.

      (5)   Microchipping fee.

   (b)   This shall not exempt such persons or entities from compliance with other applicable permit requirements.
