(a) No sign or billboard shall be erected or altered within the city limits without a permit issued by the building official. Signs and billboards shall conform to the regulations provided in the city zoning ordinance and the building and electrical codes adopted by this article.
(b) Permit fees. The permit fees for the following sign types are as follows:
Type A, B, C, D and F signs: | ||

Type E signs | $750.00 | |
(c) A violation of this section shall be unlawful.
