Any person or persons having been found guilty of creating, keeping or maintaining any nuisance who shall neglect or fail to abate or remove such nuisance within 24 hours next after his or her conviction shall, for each 24 hours thereafter in which the nuisance is continued, be subject to a like penalty as originally prescribed.
