(A) From and after the passage of the provisions codified in this section, it is unlawful for any person within the town to deal, play, carry on, open or cause to be opened or to conduct, either as owner or employee, whether for hire or not, any game of monte, roulette, lansquenet, rouge et noir, rondo, tan fantan, craps, seven-and-a-half, twenty-one or keno, or any other banking or percentage game, played with cards, dice or any device for money, checks, credits or any other representative of value.
(B) It is unlawful for any person knowingly to permit any of the prohibited games mentioned in division (A) above to be played, conducted or dealt in any house owned or rented by such person in whole or in part.
