§ 90.06 RECLAIMING OF CONFISCATED ANIMALS.
   (A)   The owner can resume possession of any confiscated animal (except where prohibited by this chapter) upon payment of the current animal shelter fees, any veterinarian fees incurred by the animal shelter for the welfare of the animal and upon compliance with the vaccination and registration provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   Disposition of animals confiscated on the grounds of cruel or inhumane treatment shall be determined by the court of jurisdiction.
   (C)   If any animal is being held under quarantine or observation for rabies, the owner shall not be entitled to possession until it has been released from quarantine, thereupon, the owner can resume possession under the provisions of division (A) above.
   (D)   Animals may be reclaimed from the Gregg County Humane Shelter in Greggton.
   (E)   All animals housed in this facility must be reclaimed within 72 hours. All animals are destroyed after that time.
