(A) The Zoning Commission of the city, herein constituted and created shall consist of seven persons. Two of these seven persons shall be selected by the Council. The Mayor and Council members shall be designated as ex-officio members and shall serve for the terms of their elective offices.
(B) The five citizen members shall be selected by the Mayor and approved by the Council. The term of each citizen member shall be for four years, except the terms of citizen members first appointed shall be so fixed that one citizen member shall serve for one year, one citizen member shall serve for two years, one citizen member shall serve for three years, and two citizen members shall serve for four years.
(C) Any vacancy in a membership shall be filled for the unexpired term by appointment as aforesaid. The Council may remove any citizen member for cause stated in writing and after public hearing.
