(A) Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than $200 for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
(B) In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted or maintained, or any building, structure or land is used in violation of this chapter, the proper authorities of the city, in addition to other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceedings to prevent the unlawful erection, maintenance or use, to restrain, correct or abate the violation, to prevent the occupancy of the building, structure or land or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about the premises.
