Every person, firm or corporation doing electrical business in the city shall execute and deliver to the city a bond with a surety bonding company in the sum of $2,000, to indemnify the city or any citizen for any damage caused by the failure of that person, firm or corporation doing the electrical work to comply strictly with the provisions of this subchapter.
