All registered land surveys of property located in the city shall be approved in the same manner as is required for the approval of subdivisions and plats pursuant to this chapter, and such approval must be endorsed on the registered land survey or attached thereto. Building permits shall be withheld for buildings within registered land surveys which are not approved pursuant to this chapter and M.S. Chapter 508 or 508A, as they may be amended from time to time.
