This Multifamily Housing Registration Code establishes minimum standards for maintaining fire and life safety for multifamily dwellings, accessory structures, and premises, and shall not exceed but shall supplement and further enable enforcement of the State Building Code and the State Fire Code. Applicable requirements shall apply to all apartment units, rooming houses, or boarding houses containing three or more rental housing units which may be used or intended for use for human habitation, and any accessory structures on the same premises.
