The listed total of unpaid charges for the cutting and removal of growth of long grass or weeds on private property or outside of the traveled portion of public streets, shall be charged along with all other charges for current services to be assessed under M.S. § 429.101, as it may be amended from time to time. If no objection is made or if the Council shall find that the work was properly done, then the amount of the cost shall be reported to the County Auditor as in the case of other special assessments, and the Auditor shall cause the cost to be assessed, levied, and collected in one payment, provided that, within 30 days after the Commissioner’s report is made to the City Council, the amount of the cost may be paid to the city.
