In the process of crafting an updated Land Use Strategy, the Commission shall:
(a) Study and analyze strengths and areas of opportunity relative to land use and development within the City;
(b) Organize and host public forums and other public feedback mechanisms to solicit input from residents of the City regarding land use within the City;
(c) Consider principles of equity; environmental justice; racial justice; environmental sustainability; and the quality of housing and neighborhood stability for lower income areas of the City;
(d) Select and retain appropriate professional technical assistance, in accordance with applicable law, to assist the Commission in developing the strategy;
(e) Based on the above, prepare a Land Use Strategy for submission to Council.
