Section 50. Powers and Duties of Chief.

The Chief of Police shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as are prescribed by this Charter, by ordinances and resolutions of Council, and by the general laws of the State governing the Police Department of cities, as far as such general laws do not conflict with said Charter, ordinances and resolutions.
