Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of an unclassified misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). Upon subsequent convictions, the penalty shall be a misdemeanor of the third degree and a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment of not more than sixty days.
