The Board of Zoning and Planning (BZAP) is established and given its authority as provided by the City charter and by ordinance of the City Council. The Board of Zoning and Planning is hereby established to control, encourage and regulate the character, design, placement and relationship of buildings, structures and spaces within the City of Bexley. The BZAP is responsible for reviewing and recommending to City Council a Strategic Plan or similar plans for the physical development of the City, the City Transportation Plan, the official Zoning Map and Zoning Code amendments and/or enactments, amendments to zoning regulations, preliminary plans and Final Plats. BZAP shall have authority to make administrative approvals as provided in this Zoning Code. (Ord. 29-16. Passed 11-15-16.)
