The Mayor may establish “no stopping” areas where stopping or standing of any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, is prohibited and no person shall stop or stand a vehicle therein unless in compliance with the direction of a police officer or traffic control device and such no stopping areas shall be designated by appropriate signs to give notice thereof.
