The ESAC shall be steered by a leadership committee comprised of a Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by Council, in accordance with Section 8(f) of the City Charter. The Chair's role is to oversee the running of the meeting and to work with the leadership committee to determine the agenda; the Vice Chair's role is to oversee the running of the meeting in the absence of the Chair and to organize the primary objectives of the ESAC with the assistance of the leadership committee and in consultation with the entire committee; the Secretary's role is to facilitate communications and the distribution of materials to the committee. All of the appointed voting members shall be electors of the City.
