§ 10.18 DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY.
   (A)   Whenever a provision appears requiring the head of a department or some other town officer to do some act or perform some duty, it shall be construed to authorize the head of the department, the Town Marshal, the Clerk-Treasurer or the other officer to designate, delegate and authorize subordinates to perform the required act or perform the duty, unless the term or terms of the provision, ordinance, section or sections specify otherwise.
   (B)   All elected and appointed officials, employees or agents of the town engaged in enforcement, policing or inspection activities or performing a specific function or task for the town has the express authority and right to visit and inspect any structure, improvement or property by entering upon private property at any reasonable time without obtaining warrants and as provided for by state law.
