(A) The Town Council hereby establishes a Department of Redevelopment to be known as the Beverly Shores Redevelopment Commission (the “Redevelopment Commission”), to be controlled by a board of 5 members.
(B) Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14 and 36-7-25, the Town Council shall appoint 2 members of the Redevelopment Commission, and the President of the Town Council shall appoint 3 members of the Redevelopment Commission.
(1) Members of the Redevelopment Commission shall be at least 18 years of age and must be residents of the town. Members shall take and subscribe an oath of office before beginning the duties thereof and shall execute a bond as set forth in I.C. 36-7-14-7.
(2) The term of office of the members of the Redevelopment Commission shall commence from the date of their appointment and expire on January 1, 2022, or as otherwise provided in I.C. 36-7-14-7.
