§ 153.01 OBSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
   (A)   Private use of platted right-of-ways is prohibited. The town does not assume any liability for damage to structure or items placed in the unpaved portions of street rights-of-way that may be damaged as a result of public use of the rights-of-way, including its use for street maintenance and snow plowing operations and that to the extent that structures and/or items are placed in the unpaved or untraveled portion of the street right-of-way and cause damage to the person or property of users at the street right-of-way.
   (B)   The Town Marshal or the Building Commissioner is authorized to demand removal of the encroaching property from a town right-of-way.
