7-2-101: INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN ZONES:
It is hereby determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey pursuant to Vehicle Code 22357 that a speed greater than twenty five (25) miles per hour would facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular traffic and would be reasonable and safe upon the streets set forth in this section, and it is further determined that the speeds designated herein are appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner.
   A.   Thirty (30) miles per hour on:
      Beverly Boulevard.
      Coldwater Canyon Drive.
      Wilshire Boulevard, that portion between the west City boundary and North Santa Monica Boulevard.
   B.   Thirty five (35) miles per hour on:
      Benedict Canyon Drive.
      Doheny Drive, that portion between Phyllis Street and Santa Monica Boulevard.
      La Cienega Boulevard.
      Olympic Boulevard.
      San Vicente Boulevard, that portion within the boundaries of the city of Beverly Hills.
      Santa Monica Boulevard.
