A. Committee Created; Compensation: There is hereby established a Bettendorf urban deer hunting advisory committee composed of eleven (11) members who shall serve without compensation.
B. Terms: The members of the committee shall serve for a three (3) year term. For purposes of staggering terms under this chapter, upon initial appointment, three (3) members shall serve for one year, four (4) members shall serve for two (2) years, and four (4) members shall serve for three (3) years.
C. Appointment; Qualifications: Members shall be appointed by the mayor and approved by the council. Members should have background or experience in urban deer hunting and/or have an interest in working with the mayor and city council and police department in reviewing the city urban deer hunting policies to make them as safe and efficient as possible.
