§ 150.145 PUBLIC BATHING CODE ADOPTED.
   (A)   There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construction, installation of equipment, water quality, maintenance and safety practices for swimming pools, that certain code known as the State Public Bathing Place Interpretive Code and the International Pool and Spa Code, hereinafter referred to as "Bathing Code," recommended by the State Department of Health, being particularly the latest edition, and all amendments thereof; save and except the portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended, of which no less than three copies have been and now are filed in the office of the City Clerk. The same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
   (B)   From the date on which this section shall take effect, the provisions of the Code, as herein modified, shall be controlling in the construction, installation of equipment, water quality, maintenance and safety practices for swimming pools within the corporate limits of the city. As the Bathing Code is subsequently amended or modified, the changes shall be incorporated herein by reference.
