(A) Wind generators and towers existing on the effective date of this subchapter may be continued, maintained and repaired.
(B) If the operation of any existing generator is discontinued for more than one year, or if any existing generator or tower should by reason of disrepair, damage or destruction require replacement or removal of the tower, the tower shall be removed and not replaced.
