(A) (1) The Mayor shall receive a salary of $4,200 annually, payable at $350 per month.
(2) The Mayor shall also be paid up to $100 per month, on an accountable plan, for expenses incurred in carrying out his or her duties and attending to business of the city.
(3) This section, however, shall not prohibit the City Council from approving additional expense reimbursement for the Mayor for non- routineexpenses.
(B) Each Council member shall receive a salary of $2,400 annually, payable at $200 per month.
(C) The salaries provided herein are intended to fully compensate the Mayor and Council members for attendance at all meetings of the City Council, regular or special, for attendance at all meetings of standing committees to which they may be assigned, for training and for all other time required of them to conscientiously fulfill the obligations of their office.
