For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PASSENGER. A person riding in an automobile as distinguished from the operator of same.
PERSON. Individuals, firms, corporations, co- partnerships or other legal entities or organizations.
TAXICAB. All automobiles carrying passengers for hire within the limits of the city, excepting ambulances and vehicles licensed by the Corporation Commission to transport passengers between towns and cities in the state, excepting buses operating with the approval of the city on certain designated routes or streets within the city.
