§ 112.24 STANDARD FACILITIES.

   All nursing care facilities and drug and/or alcohol abuse treatment facilities shall provide the following:

   (A)   Safe water supply;

   (B)   Sanitary sewer and garbage disposal;

   (C)   Natural gas or other approved fuel;

   (D)   Electricity;

   (E)   Telephone service;

   (F)   Fire extinguishers or other fire-fighting facilities, as approved by the Fire Chief;

   (G)   Enclosed yard where needed for use by persons cared for;

   (H)   Safe dry storage space for bulky items belonging to persons cared for;

   (I)   Storage space for medicine and first aid equipment;

   (J)   Storage space for poisons in a locked cabinet located other than in the bathroom;

   (K)   Linen storage;

   (L)   Adequate refrigeration;

   (M)   Provisions for fire safe storage of janitor supplies and cleaning equipment;

   (N)   Sanitary handling of dishes and foods;

   (O)   All outside doors, windows and other openings to be screened, a heating system to be approved by the Fire Chief;

   (P)   A hot water tank located other than in a bedroom.
